Herman, who has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, including 23 years with Oppenheimer & Co, will spearhead XTF’s continued growth in asset gathering, new product delivery and strategic partnerships.

Says Herman: ‘XTF is an innovative company in an exciting industry. Between 1977 to 1999, Herman served was managing director and treasurer, chairman of the management committee, and a member of the credit and operating committees at Oppenheimer, where he secured the capital and built a financial structure that was instrumental in the doubling of the firm’s revenues.
He was responsible for all of the firm’s domestic and international financing, securing short- and long-term capital to support the group’s business, managing the allocation of regulatory capital and liquidity to various production areas, and risk management.
Most recently, Herman was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Brean Murray, a full service broker-dealer, and BMI Capital, its investment advisor and asset management subsidiary, where he managed the daily administrative, sales and operational functions of the sales and trading, research, accounting, operations, legal and compliance, information technology, and human resources divisions.
XTF Global Asset Management, based in New York and founded in 2000, builds ETF portfolios designed to offer consistently strong risk-adjusted returns that outperform their benchmarks.
