XTF Global Asset Management, which specialises in actively managed asset allocation portfolios composed of exchange-traded funds, has named Tom Scuccimarra as head of sales and distribution.
Scuccimarra, who brings to XTF nearly 20 years of sales experience, including 10 years with American Skandia between 1995 and 2005, will be responsible for distributing XTF’s ETFs via a variety of distribution channels, including insurance companies and financial advisors.
‘Tom’s extensive sales and distribution experience will increase XTF’s availability to investors seeking the low-risk and steady returns of ETFs,’ says XTF chief executive Mel Herman.
‘In his previous roles, he showed an ability to increase sales on a consistent basis and achieve notable growth across a number of distribution channels. He’s bringing those strengths and broad knowledge to XTF at a time when investors are looking for more ways to diversify their holdings and invest in cost-effective, less volatile vehicles that allow for sustainable portfolio growth.’
Scuccimarra comes to XTF from E2 Financial Distributors, where he was a principal focused on raising capital for hedge fund, private equity and insurance asset managers. As divisional sales manager with American Skandia, he was responsible for managing two wholesaler divisions and liaising with financial institutions, mutual fund and annuity sub-advisor alliances and independent broker dealers such as Janus, Wells Fargo and Invesco.
Founded in 2000 and based in New York, XTF Global Asset Management builds ETF portfolios designed consistently to produce strong risk-adjusted returns that outperform their benchmarks.
