Deutsche Börse has announced the expansion of its XTF segment for exchange-traded funds on the Xetra trading platform with the admission to trading of two new ETFs issued by ETFlab. The segment now features ETFs from db x-trackers, EasyETF, ETFlab, iShares, Lyxor, Market Access, PowerShares, UBS Exchange Traded Funds and Xmtch.

The ETFlab Dax (price index) fund is the first of its kind based on the German blue-chip Dax index to become tradable. This distributing ETF complements the existing tradable performance index funds with automatic dividend reinvestment on the Dax index.

The Dax (for Deutscher Aktien Index) comprises the 30 German public limited companies with the highest turnover listed on the prime standard on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The ETFlab DJ Euro Stoxx Select Dividend 30 tracks the performance of the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx Select Dividend 30 Index (price index), which comprises the 30 companies on the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx with the highest dividend yield within the eurozone countries. The management fee for the ETFlab Dax (price index) fund is 0.15 percent, and 0.30 percent for the ETFlab DJ Euro Stoxx Select Dividend 30.

The ETF offering on Xetra currently comprises 318 exchange-traded index funds, the largest offering of any European stock exchange, while the XTF segment has an average monthly trading volume of more than EUR9bn.
