Barclays Global Investors has announced the change in name of 14 iShares exchange traded funds to reflect the name change of their respective indexes (formerly Lehman indexes).
Barclays Capital recently announced the indexes’ name changes in order to retire references to Lehman indexes.
No changes are being made to the funds’ investment objectives or index methodologies.
iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Credit Bond Fund will be known iShares Barclays 1-3 Year Credit Bond Fund, iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund will be known as iShares Barclays 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Fund, and so on.
