WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund sponsor and index developer, has announced a change in its dividend distribution schedule from annual to quarterly for all international equity funds.
Bruce Lavine, WisdomTree president and chief operating officer, says: ‘Both our domestic and international equity ETFs will make quarterly dividend distributions and believe the new payment schedule for our international line-up will benefit fund shareholders.
‘The move is particularly well-suited to our dividend-focused funds as many investors use these funds for an equity income component of their portfolios.’
The funds will continue to be offered on NYSE Arca and their investment objectives and fee structure will remain unchanged.
