Pictet Funds adds to listings on UK Cofunds platform

Pictet Funds, the investment fund distribution arm of Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie, is adding several international funds to the financial planning platform Cofunds.

Pictet Funds, the investment fund distribution arm of Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie, is adding several international funds to the financial planning platform Cofunds.

Pictet Funds launched to the UK market in September 2007.

Thirteen Pictet funds are now available on the platform, among them the recently-launched Pictet Global Megatrends fund, which gives investors access to each one of Pictet’s eight thematic sector funds.

Russell Lancaster, Cofunds director of fund manager relations, says: ‘We are all about giving advisers choice so we are extremely pleased to be able to widen that choice by expanding the range of Pictet funds now available on platform.’

Paul Gaston, UK sales director at Pictet Funds, says: ‘We are pleased to announce that investors will now have greater access to our range of funds thorough the Cofunds platform. The UK market forms a key part of our business and we are experiencing considerable demand for Pictet Funds products here.’

Founded in 1805 in Geneva, Pictet & Cie is one of Switzerland’s largest private banks, and one of the premier independent asset management specialists in Europe, with over CHF312bn in assets under management and custody at 31 December 2008.

Pictet & Cie is partnership owned and managed by seven general partners with unlimited liability for the bank’s commitments.
