Four Capital Partners is expanding its business to include a European equity capability.

Four has appointed Dino Fuschillo to head the European team, which will launch with a long-only pan European fund.

It is also Four’s intention to offer Europe ex-UK and euro benchmarked portfolios as well as a long/short hedge fund in due course.

Derrick Dunne (pictured), a founding partner of Four, says: ‘Myself and my partners are delighted to have Dino join us. Having established a strong record for our UK equity products and attracted GBP340m in assets under management, we decided to expand our offering when the opportunity arose to work with Dino. We have known Dino since the early nineties and are confident that he will make a very strong addition to the business. The UK and European teams will operate independently of each other even though there is a high degree of overlap in the investment philosophy of each team.’

Fuschillo adds: ‘I am delighted to have been asked to join such an experienced and reputable group of investment professionals. I am excited by the prospect of building a new team and again being charged with the responsibility of establishing and growing a European equity franchise. The genuine boutique culture of Four Capital Partners Limited is the ideal forum to achieve those objectives.’

Fuschillo is a director and senior European fund manager. Prior to joining Four, he was head of European equities at Martin Currie. In this role he was responsible for leading the team and for the management of concentrated long and long/short portfolios. Prior to this, he was head of European equities for SG Asset Management, a business he was hired to establish in 1998. There, he was responsible for the management of long only institutional and retail portfolios. Prior to SG, he spent eight years at Lazard culminating in being head of European equities.
