Tobam, the investment manager formed from the spin-off of Lehman Brothers Asset Management France, is boosting its distribution capability through the appointment of Christophe Roehri as a business development director in France.

Roehri has over 12 years’ experience in the financial sector. Before joining Tobam he spent three years at Credit Agricole Asset Management in Paris before joining Fortis Investments as an institutional sales director. Roehri was also employed by the Credit Lyonnais group in Indonesia and New York.

Yves Choueifaty, president of Tobam, says: ‘In response to strong demand for our anti-benchmarking approach we have been looking to increase our distribution capability. We currently manage almost GBP600m in assets for Scandinavian, Dutch, Swiss, and UK pension funds and Christophe’s extensive experience will help us to develop our presence in the French market.’
