Ironwood Investment Management has hired an investment management team to complement the firm’s existing research and portfolio management capabilities.

Portfolio managers Paul Weisman and Regina Wiedenski, each with over 20 years of investment management experience, and veteran investment analysts Joseph Bozoyan, Andrew Hurvitz, and Alessandro Vianello have joined Ironwood Investment Management and will manage Ironwood’s new VIP strategies.

The team arrives having worked together at the former J. L. Kaplan Associates where they managed assets for corporations, pension plans, endowments, and high net worth individuals using value investment strategies across market capitalizations.

"Given the recent turmoil in the investment management industry, we are pleased to be in the position to grow our firm with the addition of such exceptional talent," says Ironwood Investment Management managing partner Donald Collins. "We anticipate further opportunities will be presented as the market continues to rationalize and we welcome those opportunities as a means to further strengthen and improve our firm."

"The entire team is excited to be associated with a strong and committed group of professionals. As one of the leading small cap investment firms, Ironwood allows us to integrate our value approach to small cap investing into a dynamic organisation," says Weisman.

Ironwood Investment Management is an independent employee-owned investment management firm specializing in US based small cap companies for pension plans, endowments, foundations and individuals.
