Horizon Cash Management, a cash manager to alternative investment funds, has appointed Jennifer Wenthen as chief financial officer.
Wenthen will oversee all company accounting practices, including tax and audit functions, and will direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts for the firm.
She reports to Pauline Modjeski (pictured), president of Horizon Cash Management, who stated: ‘As hedge funds, managed futures funds and other global institutional investors continue their renewed vitality, we’ve attracted new clients and seen existing clients grow their portfolios. Jennifer’s expertise and leadership will benefit us mightily. She’s an important addition to our management team.’
Wenthen brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial experience. Prior to joining Horizon in 2008, she was controller at PCS and nPhase, two software development firms subsequently acquired by Qualcomm, a major player in the digital wireless telecommunications industry. Before that she managed network operations and financial accounting for Mitsui OSK Lines, a global shipping company.
