National Stock Exchange’s assets in US listed exchange-traded funds and exchange-traded notes totalled approximately USD649.9bn at the end of July 2009, an increase of eight per cent from June when assets reached USD603.5bn.
At the end of July 2009 the number of listed products totalled 851, compared to 814 listed products one year ago.
July 2009 net cash inflows from all ETFs/ETNs totalled approximately USD13.4bn. Year-to-date net cash inflows totalled approximately USD55.3bn, an increase of approximately 58 per cent over the same time period in 2008 when year-to-date net cash inflows totaled USD34.9bn.
In addition, ETF/ETN notional trading volume totalled approximately USD1.4trn for July 2009, representing 28 per cent of all US equity trading volume.
