Barclays Wealth appoints Marty Courage as branch manager for Boston

Barclays Wealth, a global wealth manager and adviser, has appointed Marty Courage as managing director and branch manager of its Boston office.

Barclays Wealth, a global wealth manager and adviser, has appointed Marty Courage as managing director and branch manager of its Boston office.

Courage brings more than 26 years of experience in wealth management to his new role.

He joins Barclays from J.P. Morgan’s private wealth management, where he served as head of the Boston, New England market. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked at Bank of America Investment Services as a regional investments executive leading a division of ten markets and a sales force of 270.

‘We are delighted to have an executive of Marty’s calibre to lead our New England growth effort as we continue to expand in the Americas,’ says Jack Petersen, managing director and head of Barclays Wealth, Americas.

Courage will report to Petersen and locally to John White, head of capital markets – Boston for Barclays Capital.

Barclays Wealth has 13 offices in the Americas: Atlanta, Buenos Aires, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Palm Beach, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
