2plan close to finalising Park Row deal

UK national IFA 2plan Wealth Management is close to finalising an agreement with Royal Liver’s Park Row Associates subsidiary, subject to regulatory confirmation.

The deal will result in Park Row advisers moving to 2plan wealth management within a matter of weeks.

Park Row is one of the largest financial advice companies in the UK with more than 240 advisers providing financial planning advice to individuals and businesses.

Chris Smallwood (pictured), chief executive of 2plan wealth management, says: “We are thoroughly delighted to confirm that our exclusive talks with Park Row are now very close to completion, allowing us to put in place all the preparations necessary for the advisers to move their business operations to 2plan.

“Any adviser choosing to join us will be given the maximum support possible to ensure a smooth novation of their clients and business activities and we really look forward to welcoming them to our team.”

Carey Shakespeare, sales and marketing director of Park Row, says: “We are really pleased to confirm that we are now very close to finalising the legal terms of an exclusive deal with 2plan wealth management. To ensure minimal business disruption, we will be offering all our advisers the opportunity to meet 2plan’s senior executives to gain a greater understanding of their proposition and the positive impact for their businesses – and also to then attend induction courses over the next few weeks.”
