Scottrade expands mutual funds offering

RELATED TOPICS

Scottrade, a branch-supported online investing firm, has expanded its mutual fund offering to more than 14,500 mutual funds.

Included are institutional share classes, load-waived funds and triple the number of no-transaction fee funds previously available.

In addition to mutual funds, Scottrade offers a selection of online investment products including IRAs, exchange-traded funds, Coverdell education savings accounts, bonds, options, CDs and stocks.

“Scottrade customers now have extensive access to even more of the most popular mutual fund families, giving them greater choices as they make their own investment decisions,” says Steve Walkenbach (pictured), Scottrade’s executive director of business and product development. “This addition is also evidence of Scottrade’s commitment to providing complete mutual fund services to the growing registered investment advisor (RIA) community that we serve through Scottrade Advisor Services.”

Scottrade offers educational resources to help investors determine which fund is right for them.
