Basic resources see largest sector ETF inflows


Dow Jones Stoxx 600 sector exchange-traded funds saw USD1.0m of net outflows in the week ending 8 January, according to BlackRock.

The largest sector ETF inflows were in basic resources with USD131.9m and oil and gas with USD29.3m.

Food and beverage experienced net outflows of USD104.1m.

Year-to-date, basic resources has been the most popular sector with USD131.9m net new assets, followed by oil and gas with USD29.3m net inflows. 

Food and beverage ETFs have been the least popular with USD104.1m net outflows YTD.
