Silver Bridge opens Delaware office

Wealth advisory firm Silver Bridge has opened its Mid-Atlantic regional office in Greenville, Delaware.

Benjamin J. Ledyard, regional director for the Mid-Atlantic, will manage the Delaware office, providing a full complement of wealth advisory and family office services.

In addition, the office will offer personal trustee services through the establishment of a Delaware Limited Purpose Trust Company.

"The Greenville office is an exciting step toward the realization of the Silver Bridge vision to become the preferred destination of successful individuals and families nationally," says Stephen Prostano, president of Silver Bridge. "Ben has a deep passion for working with families, and has worked tirelessly to bring our firm’s wealth advisory and family office capabilities to the Mid-Atlantic region. Silver Bridge has an 80-year tradition of helping individuals and families realize their financial goals and aspirations. The Delaware office is a natural extension of our legacy."

Ledyard, as the director of wealth strategies, will continue to design, develop and implement financial and estate planning strategies for the entire firm. He will be supported by a team of professionals, including principal and client adviser Kelley Reilly.

"I am thrilled to broaden Silver Bridge’s reach even further through the services available in the Delaware office. These past few months have been an exciting journey," says Ledyard. "I know the Mid-Atlantic region will benefit greatly from a trusted advisory firm that can combine the deep personal relationship that comes with an independent boutique business model with the resources and backing of our parent, WilmerHale, an international law firm."
