Capital Guardian adds Archer Investment Management

Regional brokerage firm Capital Guardian has added Archer Investment Management in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Matt Archer, principal at Archer Investment Management, says the firm will have more opportunities to give clients access to services and products.

“Capital Guardian provides great support and is truly a partner in our business. Our focus is on personal relationships and Capital Guardian gives us a lot of potential to grow our business. We can be advocates for our clients rather than being restricted, which can happen with larger broker dealers,” he says.

Nina Moore O’Neal is a recent addition to the Archer Investment Management team. She will focus on consolidated corporate benefit solutions that include retirement plan services, dental and vision plans, group life insurance, as well as voluntary employee benefits such as additional coverage for cancer, accidents, hospitalizations, and critical illnesses. She began her career in New York City with Jennison Associates working with pension funds and large institutional funds. After returning to North Carolina, she spent time with Merrill Lynch as a financial adviser.

"We feel very fortunate to have been selected by Archer Investment Management. Matt and Nina have a tremendous amount of integrity and a focused business plan. We are happy to be working with them and look forward to helping them grow the Raleigh market," says Tony Montanari (pictured), director of business development at Capital Guardian.

Archer Investment Management is an independent fee-only registered investment adviser which was founded in 2005.
