GenSpring promotes Christina Burroughs to president of Phoenix office

GenSpring Family Offices, a wealth management firm for ultra-high net worth families, has promoted Christina Burroughs to president of the firm’s Phoenix family office.

GenSpring serves over 700 families with over USD18bn in assets under advisement.

With the growth of the firm Mark Feldman, founder of GenSpring’s Phoenix family office, has been asked to assume broader responsibilities. He will now be responsible for family office staff across the entire GenSpring footprint and is a member of the firm’s operating committee.

Feldman remains located in Phoenix, committed to servicing clients of the Phoenix family office. To maintain continuity and focus he has named Burroughs as president of the local family office.

“I am honoured to lead the Phoenix family office’s efforts in helping client families solve the issues that keep them awake at night,” says Burroughs. “Mark has been instrumental in creating a community of wealth management professionals who share similar values. I look forward to expanding upon the foundation he has built to put unprecedented control, power, knowledge and opportunity squarely on a family’s side of the table.”

“Every day it becomes more evident that wealthy local families need an alternative to the traditional banking and brokerage models to oversee and manage their financial lives, and increasingly they are choosing GenSpring Family Offices to do just that,” adds Feldman. “Christina was a natural choice to succeed me in the Phoenix family office. Client families have confidence and trust in her, she has the respect of her colleagues and an impressive history in the Phoenix market, which make her acutely familiar with local conditions.”
