Investment firm Janus Capital Group has added Riley Horlacher to its adviser solutions group.

As a vice president and sales director with Janus, Horlacher is responsible for working with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities in the financial intermediary sales channel.

Horlacher, who is based in Dallas, covers the northern Texas region of the US.

He reports to Eric Hargens, divisional vice president of the advisor solutions group.

"With his extensive sales experience and a deep understanding of the financial intermediary space, I believe Riley will be an important addition to our team," says Hargens. "He has a proven track record of working with advisors to provide investment solutions in a wide range of market environments."

Horlacher comes to Janus from Highland Capital Management, where he was a director of distribution covering the western US. Prior to that, he covered the southwest and northwest regions of the US as a director of distribution with Evergreen Investments.

"I am excited to have joined a firm with a wide range of truly compelling investment solutions," says Horlacher. "I believe Janus’ equity and fixed-income products, Perkins value portfolios and Intech’s risk-managed strategies can all play an important role in an investor’s portfolio and I am looking forward to helping financial intermediaries meet their clients’ needs."
