The Monetary Authority of Singapore has entered the Vam Multi Asset Strategy Fund and the Vam Driehaus Fund, offered by Vam Funds, into the list of restricted schemes.
This enables Vam Funds to market the funds in the region.
The Multi Asset Strategy Fund, managed by Valu-Trac Investment Management, aims to achieve long term capital appreciation while retaining a focus on capital preservation. The fund invests in equities, bonds, commodity ETFs and index futures, with an active country selection.
The investment objective of the Vam Driehaus Fund is to provide strong capital appreciation, through aggressive growth over the full investment cycle. The fund allocates all of its assets to various compartments of Vam Funds (Lux) that are managed by Driehaus Capital Management.
Nigel Watson, global sales director at Vam Funds, says: “The approval of our two core funds in Singapore reiterates the quality of the Vam Funds offering. Almost our entire fund range is now approved in Singapore, continuing our global development and increasing clients’ access to world class fund managers and products.”
