Stoxx 600 sector ETFs see USD226.3m net outflows

European Stoxx 600 sector exchange-traded funds had net outflows of USD226.3m during the week ending 23 April, a report by BlackRock says.

The largest sector ETF inflows last week were in automobiles and parts with USD28.0m.

Banks and basic resources experienced net outflows of USD194.5m and USD84.5m respectively.

Year-to-date, media has had the largest net inflows with USD353.1m net new assets, followed by oil and gas with USD76.8m YTD.

Telecommunications sector ETFs have had the largest net outflows with USD235.9m YTD.

In total, Stoxx 600 sector ETFs have seen USD177.5m net outflows YTD.
