Evercore acquires investment firm Morse Williams

Evercore Wealth Management has completed the acquisition of Morse Williams, a registered investment adviser which manages approximately USD190m for individual clients, families and related institutions.

In a related transaction, Evercore Wealth Management also completed the acquisition of The Wall Street Fund, a USD12m mutual fund.

Evercore Wealth Management partners Robert Morse and Tim Evnin (pictured) will co-manage the fund.

The Wall Street Fund was launched on 23 December 1945. The fund’s primary investment objective is to achieve capital growth through diversified stock investments.

Evercore Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Evercore Partners, serves high net worth individuals, families and related institutions, delivering customised investment management, financial planning, trust and custody services.
