Atlantic Trust hires in Houston, New York and Austin

Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management division of Invesco, has hired Ryan McCleary as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager in Houston, Gordon A.M. Ross as a vice president and relationship manager in New York, and Mark E. Frazier as an associate vice president and associate relationship manager in Austin.

McCleary brings 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. He most recently served as vice president and co-portfolio manager with Fruth Investment Management, a Houston-based registered investment adviser, where he also co-managed client service for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Previously, he served eight years as a vice president and portfolio manager at King Investment Advisors, where he was as a member of the firm’s investment advisory group and chiefly responsible for the firm’s overall positioning and market strategy.

McCleary began his career in the investment business at Beutel Goodman Capital Management, where he worked as an analyst on a USD2bn mid-to-large cap domestic equities portfolio.

Ross brings more than seven years of industry experience. He has specialised in working directly with investors and their families to formulate and manage customized investment strategies and wealth management solutions. Most recently, Ross managed client portfolios as an investment manager for Bestinvest Brokers in London, one of the UK’s largest independent wealth management firms.

Frazier brings more than ten years of investment industry experience. He will work closely with senior relationship managers to provide customised wealth management solutions to their clients. Most recently, Frazier was an equity research associate with Brandes Investment Partners, an independent investment management firm. Previously, he served in institutional portfolio management and private client services at Brandes.

"The addition of these experienced professionals to Atlantic Trust’s growing national footprint underscores our ongoing commitment to hiring the best talent across the firm as we continue to provide our clients with superior service and tailored investment solutions," says Jack Markwalter (pictured), Atlantic Trust chairman and chief executive.
