City National Bank has hired banking and investment management veterans Glenn Hamburger, Julia L. Stannard and Troy Franzen for its private client services group in Orange County.

Hamburger will serve as senior vice president and as a team leader in private client services.

Stannard joins the team as vice president and a senior private banker and Franzen will serve as vice president and senior private client adviser.

The three will oversee new client development and service to the bank’s high-net-worth clients in Orange County. These services include tailored investment management, trust, credit and banking services.

Hamburger, Stannard and Franzen, who previously worked at Comerica Bank’s wealth management group in Orange County, report to Carla Furuno, senior vice president and manager of City National Bank’s southern region private client services division.

"We are delighted to have these seasoned professionals join our Orange County team, adding even more expertise and expanding our group of outstanding advisors who serve that important market," says Furuno. "City National continues to grow in Orange County and these three advisors will help us manage the complex financial needs of more high-net-worth families, select nonprofits and professional service firms here in Orange County."

Hamburger has nearly 20 years of private banking and wealth management experience, and most recently served as group manager for Comerica Bank’s wealth management group, where he was responsible for three private banking offices. Before joining Comerica, he was a banking manager at Union Bank.

Stannard has more than 20 years of private banking experience and most recently served as a private banker for Comerica Bank’s wealth management group. Previously, she was a portfolio manager at Imperial Bank in San Francisco.

Franzen has nearly 20 years of experience in private banking, most recently at Comerica, where he was a vice president and wealth adviser. He previously served as a financial advisor with Signature Estate & Investment Advisors in Beverly Hills and Irvine.
