Cornerstone Wealth Management renamed Hefty Wealth Partners

Cornerstone Wealth Management has changed its name to Hefty Wealth Partners.

The firm says the new name better reflects the existing company partnership and separates the firm from other similarly named entities.

Hefty Wealth Partners is an independent financial firm founded in 2000. It provides financial planning and investment management solutions to individuals, families, and small businesses.

The name change coincides with the decision to become a hybrid registered investment adviser.

The hybrid model allows the company to operate as a full service firm no longer tied to one custodian, and provides clients with greater flexibility when needed. The change does not affect current ownership or mission.

“We are excited about changing our name to Hefty Wealth Partners while shifting to a RIA,” says David Hefty, chief executive and co-founder of Hefty Wealth Partners. “As our breadth of services continues to expand, the changes seemed a natural transition to reflect our commitment to meet each client’s specific needs and differentiate the company from others. Both changes more accurately reflect who we are as independent, unbiased and thoughtful financial advisers.”

Hefty Wealth Partners will continue to operate through LPL Financial, an independent broker-dealer.
