Heartwood, the independently-owned wealth manager, has appointed Tabitha Roberts as head of marketing.
In this newly created position Roberts will be responsible for the company’s marketing strategy and for leading the marketing team.
Based in the firm’s London office, Roberts will report to Guy Hudson, head of client services and distribution.
Roberts has over 15 years of experience and for much of her career has specialised in the financial services sector. Before joining Heartwood, she was a freelance consultant and in this capacity undertook a brand positioning and proposition development project for Skandia.
Prior to that Roberts held a number of senior marketing roles at Barclays, which she joined in 2002 and became acting associate director for the customer strategy team. During her time at Barclays she worked on a wide number of assignments including the creation of the Barclays UK Retail Bank’s customer value proposition. She was also extensively involved in the development and execution of the strategy for Barclays Premier, the bank’s premium banking arm.
Previously she worked as brand manager at Safeway and as a consultant at The Value Engineers, a strategic marketing consultancy.
Hudson says: “We are delighted to welcome Tabitha to the team. She joins the firm at an exciting time in our development and as we continue to increase our discretionary assets under management we believe the time is right to take our marketing to the next level. Tabitha’s experience across the marketing spectrum will play an invaluable role in bringing the Heartwood brand to new audiences.”
