Legacy Family Office launches educational series for affluent families

Florida wealth management firm Legacy Family Office has launched a four-part educational series designed to educate affluent families on family continuity, estate planning, philanthropy and investing.

The seminars will be co-facilitated by Legacy Family Office founder and president Tamara Surratt.

The first lecture is scheduled for 19 November and is entitled “An Heir Raising Experience.” This session is on financial parenting and will be co-presented by Surratt and Kim Kirmmse Toth, a family therapist and life coach with extensive training working with affluent families as a family coach. The session will focus on managing and investing wealth, understanding the psychology of money and how to raise financially literate children in a successful multigenerational family.

“One of the main things that differentiates our office is our strong commitment to family continuity, that is helping to educate younger generations of wealthy families on the wealth they will inherit, how to manage it, and how to fulfill the family’s mission for how their wealth should be used,” Surratt says. “Our lecture series is designed to educate, to encourage and to inspire families to create a successful multigenerational wealth owning family.”

Upcoming sessions include “Estate Planning – The Art of Wealth and the Wealth of Art”, “Philanthropy – Women and Philanthropy” and “Investments – Investing Outside the Box”.
