Glenmede appoints Susan Mucciarone director of wealth services

Glenmede, a privately-held and independent investment and wealth management firm, has hired Susan P. Mucciarone as senior vice president and director of wealth services and a member of the company’s management committee.

Mucciarone will work from the company’s Philadelphia office, reporting to Chip Wilson, executive vice president and director of client services.

Mucciarone succeeds Warren Reintzel, director of relationship management and administration, who, following 25 years of service with Glenmede, will retire at year-end.

"Susan’s arrival reaffirms our commitment to providing an unparalleled client service experience nationwide," says Wilson. "We are thrilled she has joined our team, and greatly value her significant management expertise and industry knowledge."

Mucciarone will oversee the wealth management services for high net worth, ultra-high net worth and family office clientele. Until recently, she served as the executive vice president and senior managing director of Wells Fargo’s east coast Family Wealth business. Prior to this role, Mucciarone was the managing director of the Calibre family office, a former unit of Wachovia.

In addition to Mucciarone, other recent hires include Steven J. Brandfield, managing director of business development, Lee P. Miller, senior wealth adviser, Jason D. Pride, director of investment strategy, and Glenn N. Switzer, senior portfolio manager.
