Avondale Partners, an investment banking and wealth management firm headquartered in Nashville, has expanded its investment banking group with the addition of F. Gordon Pollock, Jr. as executive managing director and Dudley Baker as vice president.

Pollock is focused in the areas of business services and education.

Before joining Avondale Partners, he was a managing director at Morgan Joseph from 2006 to 2010 where he was head of their business services and education industry group. From 1997 to 2006 he was an investment banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and its predecessor companies and a managing director in STRH’s business services group, serving as head of its middle market mergers and acquisition group.

"Gordon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm and is a wonderful addition to our senior investment banking team," says Phil Krebs, senior managing partner.

Baker previously served as vice president at Morgan Joseph, having previously worked for Modern Holdings, a private equity firm with investments in telecommunications and media. He has held various positions in business development and strategic planning during his career.

"We are delighted to have both Gordon and Dudley join our practice," says Mike Ryan, managing director and co-head of the investment banking group. "Their extensive industry expertise and transaction execution capabilities will add meaningful depth to our investment banking group."
