Cazenove Capital appoints Rupert Tyer as non-exec director

Cazenove Capital has confirmed the appointment of Rupert Tyer as Non-Executive Director to the Board of Cazenove Capital Holdings.

Tyer has recently retired from Cantillon Capital Management, where he was a founding partner of the London and New York based global equity boutique. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Lazard Unit Trust Managers Ltd, with responsibility for business development, distribution and marketing strategy for the UK and Dublin based businesses.
"Rupert will be a welcome addition to the Board," says Andrew Ross, Chief Executive of Cazenove Capital. "He brings with him huge experience of the asset management business, in particular the world of long only and long short funds for both retail and institutional investors. We believe we are well placed to benefit from a number of the trends currently underway in the asset management industry and Rupert will assist the Board in assessing its strategy in a rapidly changing market."
