Twelve new RBS Market Access ETFs launched on Xetra

Twelve new equity index funds issued by The Royal Bank of Scotland are tradable on Xetra.

 

The RBS Market Access Leveraged FTSE MIB Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly performance of the FTSE MIB Index, the RBS Market Access Short FTSE MIB Monthly Index ETF tracks the inverse performance of the FTSE MIB Index, while the FTSE MIB Index comprises the 40 most important Italian companies and covers almost 80 percent of Italy’s market capitalisation.



The RBS Market Access S&P GSCI Capped Component 35/20 2x Leverage Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly performance of the S&P GSCI Capped Component 35/20 Index, the RBS Market Access S&P GSCI Capped Component 35/20 2x Inverse Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly inverse performance of the S&P GSCI Capped Component 35/20 Index, and the S&P GSCI Capped Commodity 35/20 Index comprises the following 18 commodities and commodity sectors: aluminium, cocoa, coffee, copper, corn, cotton, gold, lead, lean hogs, natural gas, nickel, silver, soybeans, sugar and zinc, and the energy, live cattle and wheat varieties sectors. There can only be one commodity component in the index with a maximum 35-percent weighting, and none of the other 17 can be weighted higher than 20 percent.



The RBS Market Access TOPIX EUR Hedged Index ETF enables investors to invest in the performance of the TOPIX Total Return Index for the first time, with hedging against exchange rate fluctuations between the euro and US dollar. The TOPIX Total Return Index contains all Japanese equities which are admitted for official trading. The companies included are weighted according to market capitalisation. The index currently comprises 1,672 equities.



The RBS Market Access LevDAX x2 Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly performance of the DAX Index, whereas the RBS Market Access ShortDAX x2 Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly inverse performance of the DAX Index. The DAX, operated by Deutsche Börse AG, tracks the German blue chip segment and comprises the 30 largest and best performing German companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB).

The RBS Market Access EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Leverage Index ETF tracks twice the monthly performance of the EURO STOXX 50 Index. The RBS Market Access EURO STOXX 50 Monthly Double Short Index ETF tracks twice the monthly inverse performance of the EURO STOXX 50 Index. The EURO STOXX 50 Index is the regional blue chip index in Europe, comprising the shares of the 50 euro zone industry leaders.



The RBS Market Access Leveraged FTSE 100 Monthly Index ETF tracks twice the monthly performance of the FTSE 100 Index. The RBS Market Access Short FTSE 100 Monthly Index ETF tracks the inverse performance of the FTSE 100 Index. The FTSE 100 comprises the 100 largest UK companies according to full market value.



The RBS Market Access S&P 500 EUR Hedged Index ETF enables investors to invest in the performance of the S&P 500 Total Return Net Index for the first time, with hedging against exchange rate fluctuations between the euro and US dollar. The S&P 500 Total Return Net Index is weighted according to free float market capitalisation and in turn tracks the performance of the 500 largest US stock corporations.
