BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has been named Best North American ETF Fund Administrator by ETFExpress, an industry publication covering exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and institutional investors.
BNY Mellon at the end of 2010 exceeded USD200 billion in exchange-traded fund (ETF) assets under administration, an increase of 46 per cent since the beginning of 2010. BNY Mellon is the largest global administrator for ETFs in terms of funds serviced and sponsors supported, providing services to 400 products in the US and nearly 500 total separate portfolios worldwide.
“We continue to see rapid innovation in ETFs, as relatively newer products such as those offering exposure to emerging markets, commodities and certain types of fixed income are now among the fastest-growing segments of the global ETF business,” says Joseph Keenan (pictured), managing director for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and head of its global ETF services business.
“We are honoured to be recognised as Best North American ETF Administrator. We will continue to work closely with our clients and new sponsors to help them bring new types of ETFs to market.”
