STOXX Europe 600 Sector ETFs saw outflows of USD237.2m net outflows for the week ending 12 April 2011.

The largest sector ETF net outflows furring the week were in insurance with USD111.5m followed by banks with USD77.1m net outflows while basic resources experienced net inflows of USD152.6m. Year to date, STOXX Europe 600 sector ETFs have seen USD418.1m net inflows. Banks has seen the largest net inflows with USD438.0m, followed by oil and gas with USD430.5m net inflows while industrial goods and services experienced the largest net outflows with USD163.8m.

As of 01 April 2011, there is USD10.8 Bn AUM invested in the STOXX sector ETFs which is double the USD5.4 Bn open interest in the sector futures. The ETF AUM is greater than the open interest in the corresponding futures contract in 16 out of 19 sectors.
