New General Manager joins Equity Trust’s team in Singapore

Esther Fung has joined the Singapore office of Equity Trust as General Manager, Private Clients, working as part of a team responsible for business development.

In her role Fung’s primary responsibility will be the marketing of trust and related services in Singapore, as well as assisting with business development.

Fung has a wealth of experience having worked for a number of major international financial institutions with new business development and client relationship responsibilities. After working in banking during the first stage of her career primarily with HSBC group in Canada and Hong Kong, and Scotiatrust Asia Limited, member of The Bank of Nova Scotia, she has spent the last 10 years in the trust industry. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Fung joins Equity Trust from the Hong Kong branch of BNP Paribas Wealth Management where she was Senior Vice President, Wealth Planning. She was responsible for identifying clients’ wealth planning needs and for providing the best solutions possible to cater for their requirements.

After working for several years in her native Hong Kong, Fung emigrated to Canada and obtained a Business Diploma from the Seneca College of Canada. Subsequently, she went on to attain an MBA from the South Eastern University in Washington D.C.
