Russell Investment Funds added to Jefferson National’s platform

Russell Investments has partnered with Jefferson National in order to add 10 Russell Investment Funds to Jefferson National’s Monument Advisor flat-insurance fee variable annuity, making them available to more than 1,300 fee-based and fee-only investment advisors. The 10 offerings include various options in the Russell Investment Funds (RIF) and LifePoints Funds Variable Target Portfolio Series.

“Russell has deep roots in the independent advisor community and has worked with some of the most successful practices to help them grow while addressing the evolving needs of their clients,” says Ryan Parker, managing director of business development for Russell’s advisor-sold business. “Helping advisors to devise a plan for income to support their clients’ lifestyle during retirement—while addressing concerns about tax management—rank at the forefront of our efforts. Offering our multi-manager investment process through Jefferson National’s Monument Advisor platform affords us another avenue to help more financial advisors address these critical client needs.”

Parker added that the two firms combined offer 140 years of experience in financial services, which includes Russell’s industry-leading dedicated investment manager research analysis.

“Through our partnership with Russell Investments, Jefferson National continues to take the lead on meeting fee-based advisors’ demand for an unmatched lineup of funds that can help their clients improve performance potential with the power of tax deferral,” says Laurence Greenberg, President of Jefferson National. “As one of the only fee-based VAs to offer this suite of portfolios leveraging the institutional expertise of Russell Investments, Jefferson National provides unique solutions to the most challenging investment problems faced by advisors and their clients.”
