Horizon appoints Le Cornu as Associate Director

Horizon Investments, the investment management division of Horizon Group, has appointed Matt Le Cornu (pictured) as Associate Director.

Le Cornu, who specialises in the research and analysis of direct asset classes such as equities, bonds and ETFs, will complement the expertise in alternative assets and commodities already available at Horizon. He will also actively manage investments on behalf of clients, research investment funds for investment potential and also build and maintain client relationships.

“I really enjoy exceeding client expectations and making investment decisions that deliver for my clients," says Le Cornu. "I’m excited about working with my new colleagues at Horizon, getting to know our clients and managing their portfolios as successfully as possible.”

Before joining the team at Horizon Investments, Le Cornu worked in the Bespoke Investments Team at Ashburton, having worked at Barclays Wealth and Dexia Private Bank before that.

A graduate of Hull University with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, Le Cornu is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and is currently studying for the 3rd level of the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.
