STOXX Europe 600 sector ETFs see USD28.4m net outflows

For the week ending 29 July 2011, there were USD28.4m net outflows from STOXX Europe 600 sector ETFs. The largest sector ETF net outflows last week were in banks with USD71.9m followed by oil and gas with USD54.5m net outflows while healthcare experienced net inflows of USD51.7m.
 

Year to date, STOXX Europe 600 sector ETFs have seen USD122.4m net inflows. Banks has seen the largest net inflows with USD320.3m, followed by healthcare with USD274.9m net inflows, while utilities experienced the largest net outflows with USD247.2m.
 
 As of 29 July 2011, there is USD9.9bn AUM invested in the STOXX sector ETFs which is greater than the USD5.9bn open interest in the sector futures. The ETF AUM is greater than the open interest in the corresponding futures contract in 16 out of 19 sectors.
