Santander Private Banking continues to grow Jersey based operations

RELATED TOPICS

Santander Private Banking has strengthened its private banking business further with the appointments of Simon Hayward as the bank’s new Head of Private Banking Operations and Doug MacKenzie as Head of Treasury.

Hayward will lead the treasury function and in particular will ensure the efficient operation of the foreign exchange and fixed deposit services. MacKenzie meanwhile, will be responsible for delivering efficient operational support, running the key back office functions.

With Santander Private Banking now firmly focussed on the local Jersey market, reaction to the recently launched private banking range of services has been very positive with clients drawn to the idea of a personal service delivered locally, but backed by one of the largest private banking groups in the world with operations in Europe, Latin America and the USA.

Jane Matthews, Head of Marketing and Communications, says: “Since our launch, we have seen a very high level of interest in the range of services we are able to offer Jersey residents who are attracted by the promise of a more open and transparent private banking service. Our strengthened team will allow us to grow further, whilst still maintaining our absolute commitment to the highest levels of service."
