Sergio Trezzi and Miguel Rona to co-head Invesco’s retail business in Continental Europe

Invesco has named Sergio Trezzi and Miguel Rona as Co-Heads of the firm’s retail business in Continental Europe as part of its strategy to accelerate the growth of its cross border fund range.

Sergio Trezzi (39) joined Invesco in 1999 and has already led the roll-out of the Invesco Powershares ETF brand in Continental Europe, alongside his responsibilities for retail business in Italy and Greece. He will take additional responsibility for retail activities in Germany, Austria, Benelux and the Nordics.
 
Miguel Rona (43) joined Invesco in 2000 and is currently responsible for retail business in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. He will take additional responsibility for retail activities in Switzerland and France.
 
Both Trezzi and Rona will continue to report to James Robertson, Chief Executive Officer Invesco EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
 
Invesco believes that there is a major opportunity in Europe and will increase its focus on this opportunity over the coming years.
