Wealth-X, an ultra high net worth (UHNW) intelligence, prospecting and wealth diligence solution, has boosted its operations in Switzerland by opening an office in Lugano in July.

The company also released its latest intelligence briefing on the ultra affluent in Europe, the region with the second largest number of UHNW globally today. The report provides a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of Europe’s ultra-affluent population.

To mark the expansion, Wealth-X will be organising a series of events including press conferences in the major cities around Switzerland. Wealth-X senior executives and UHNW experts, such as Chairman of the Board David Leppan and Chief Executive Officer Mykolas Rambus (pictured), will be attending and administering the sessions. The company will hold two press conferences on the 10 & 11 November. Wealth-X will also be hosting a standing lunch and dinner on the 10th. Swiss bankers and representatives from luxury brands and insurance companies are among those expected to be present at the events.

By reinforcing its presence in Europe, Wealth-X continues to span the globe for ultra wealth and profitable business development opportunities for private bankers. Europe has 54,325 UHNW individuals with a total net worth of USD6.81 trillion (USD), according to latest estimates by Wealth-X. Wealth-X data also shows that North America has the largest UHNW population and is home to approximately 62,950 ultra wealthy individuals with a net worth of USD30 million plus.
