Waverton removes performance fees on equity funds

Waverton, J O Hambro Investment Management’s fund range, has removed the performance fees on its equity funds.

The four funds are: Waverton Global Equity Fund, Waverton Asia Pacific Fund; Waverton European Fund; and Waverton UK Fund.

Waverton will now charge a flat management charge for these funds of 1.0 % per annum (A Class).

Commenting on the move, James Du Boulay, Head of Funds Distribution, Waverton says: “We have decided to remove the performance fees to align ourselves with our most competitive peers after widespread research and discussions with the investment community.”

Waverton’s funds operate under a UCITS IV, Dublin-based umbrella, managed by fund managers who seek to generate superior performance from focused portfolios of their best ideas.
