Growth drives Brooks Macdonald Manchester office move

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management’s (BMAM) Manchester operation has completed its move to new premises in Manchester city centre.

The move has been driven by a steady growth in client funds under management with an increasing number of professional introducers supporting the office. The move was celebrated at a launch party last night attended by a wide range of Manchester based guests drawn from the professional and business communities.

The Manchester office first opened in mid 2007, with a team of three investment managers, led by Claire Bennison (pictured), Regional Director.

Bennison’s team now numbers thirteen, with five investment managers, two trainee investment managers, two intermediary sales and four executive support staff.

The new offices occupy 3,129 square feet on the 10th Floor at 1, Marsden Street Manchester.

Andrew Shepherd, Joint Managing Director of BMAM, says: “The Manchester office, led by Claire Bennison, has grown rapidly and we have been fortunate to retain the loyalty of our existing professional introducers as well as add new relationships. Our team has grown to ensure we maintain our service levels and the new offices give us further room for expansion.”

Bennison says: “Manchester has been a very important business centre for us and we believe the new offices reinforce the brand experience that clients and our introducers expect. We look forward to a long and successful future in the centre of Manchester as we continue to grow the business.”
