Prism adds funds to Fidelity FundsNetwork platform

Prism Capital Management Limited’s three multi manager funds have been added to the Fidelity FundsNetwork platform. This announcement forms part of Prism’s ongoing initiative to make the funds available to a wider group of advisers and their clients.

The Prism funds focus on meeting targeted returns within well defined levels of risk and are managed by the award winning multi manager investment team at Octopus Investments. The funds, which were launched in March 2009, currently have GBP185 million in assets under management and are already available on a range of platforms including Skandia, Nucleus and Transact. The fund range comprises:

FDS Prism Cautious Growth: designed for investors who want a better return than leaving their money in a bank or building society, but are not comfortable with having a large exposure to investments. The fund has returned 32.4%* since launch.

IFDS Prism Capital Growth: designed for investors who don’t mind living with a degree of risk in return for the possibility of an enhanced level of return. The fund has returned 41.3% since launch.

IFDS Prism Advanced: designed for less risk-sensitive investors who are prepared to accept short-term volatility in exchange for higher long-term investment returns. The fund has returned 42.4% since launch.

Lothar Mentel (pictured), Chief Investment Officer at Octopus, says: “We’re pleased to see the Prism range of funds available on FundsNetwork, and we anticipate that advisers will find our approach refreshing and innovative. We believe that dedicated portfolio management services should be affordable and available to all UK investors, not just the very wealthy. Our aim is to deliver consistent returns based on a clearly defined set of investment objectives.”
