BetaShares appoints Vinnie Wadhera as director, portfolio and national account sales


BetaShares Capital Limited (BetaShares) has appointed Vinnie Wadhera as director, portfolio and national account sales. In the newly formed role, Wadhera’s main responsibility will be financial adviser distribution and education for the suite of exchange traded funds (ETFs) offered by BetaShares.

Wadhera has 17 years of experience in the investment management industry. He was most recently with Third Link Investment Managers as Head of Distribution following five years with ING Australia as Head of Funds Management – Distribution where he was responsible for mezzanine / wholesale market segment sales and research house ratings.

Prior to ING Australia, he was Director of Institutional Business with Allianz Dresdner Asset Management responsible for institutional sales and consultant relations within the Asia Pacific region.

Wadhera will join BetaShares on 9 January 2012.
