RBC Wealth Management has appointed Michelle Wright as a Director in its UK Private Client Wealth Management team. Joining the Americas desk, Wright reports to Martin Heale, who was appointed Head of Americas in July 2011.

Wright joins an expanding specialist business and will be responsible for RBC Wealth Management’s US clients requiring wealth management in London. Mike Moodie, Head, UK, RBC Wealth Management, says: “Michelle’s appointment is further proof of our dedication to US clients in London at a time when many UK wealth managers are deciding to scale back or exit the market. Our investments business in London has held a SEC licence for over a decade and we’re well-positioned to service increasingly sophisticated clients that are looking to London for a variety of wealth management solutions. We continue to attract high-calibre relationship managers from across the industry and we’re very pleased to have Michelle on board.”

Ms Wright joins from Barclays Wealth, where she was a private banker focused on financial industry professionals and US citizens residing in the UK.
