"Dan brings to our Board vast experience with a broad range of US and international corporate transactional and governance issues," says Craig Smith, President of Tiedemann Wealth Management. "While Dan has been a friend of the firm for years, we are particularly excited that, upon his retirement as a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP at the end of 2011, he chose to make Tiedemann a central part of the next phase of his professional career."
"I am delighted to join the board at this exciting time for Tiedemann. The firm has a significant opportunity to grow and to capitalize on the investment in infrastructure and operations made over the last several years," says Sternberg. "In addition to helping guide the firm during this next stage of development, I will also bring to the board more than three decades experience counseling corporate directors and I look forward to sharing the fruits of that experience with my new colleagues at Tiedemann."
