Global X files for Global X SuperIncome ETF and SuperIncome Preferred ETF

Global X has filed a prospectus with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Global X SuperIncome ETF and a Global X SuperIncome Preferred ETF.

According to Global X’s filing: “The Global X SuperIncome ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Solactive Global SuperIncome Index.” The index tracks the performance of high income securities globally across a variety of asset classes, including equities, real estate investment trusts (“REITs”), master limited partnerships (“MLPs”), preferred securities and fixed income securities, as defined by Structured Solutions AG.

The SuperIncome Preferred ETF meanwhile: “seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P High Yield Preferred Stock Index”. The Index tracks the performance of the highest yielding preferred securities in the United States, as determined by Standard & Poor’s.

Both funds will be managed by Bruno del Ama (pictured), Chief Executive Officer of Global X, and Jose Gonzalez, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.
