Independent wealth managers Burns Advisory Group and Executive Financial Group, who merged their operations in autumn 2011, have adopted a new name – Exencial Wealth Advisors.

Exencial, like its predecessors, provides senior corporate executives, entrepreneurs, families and institutions objective analysis and recommendations based on clients’ particular financial needs and goals. The firm employs a proactive investment committee, proven asset management process and a specialist team dedicated to solving the financial issues confronted by executives seeking to grow their wealth or transition into retirement.

"The Exencial brand formalises an evolution that began when Jerry and I recognised the client benefits that would result by combining our respective specialties," says John Burns, principal of Exencial Wealth Advisors. "As our breadth of services continues to expand, the new name reflects our commitment to meet each client’s specific needs and embodies who we are as a team of independent, unbiased and thoughtful wealth managers."

"This change marks another step toward bringing our teams together to enhance the services we deliver clients," said Jerry Georgopoulos, principal of Exencial Wealth Advisors. "We are excited about the Exencial name, says orients the firm’s identity with our focus on providing superior financial advice to clients with unique wealth management issues."

Financial Planning Magazine recognized the Burns Advisory Group-Executive Financial Group merger as one of the Top 10 industry deals of 2011. The unified firm now has a major presence in the South Central United States, with offices in Oklahoma City and Dallas, as well as an East Coast location in Southern Connecticut.
