Thomas Miller Investment, a member of the 127 year old Thomas Miller Group of Companies, has appointed Andrew Herberts as Deputy Head of Private Investment Management.
Herberts joins Harry Morgan, who was recently appointed Head of Private Investment Management, to launch the new UK based private client investment business to complement Thomas Miller Investment’s existing private client operation in the Isle of Man.
Herberts has over 13 years of fund management experience, most recently as Investment Director for Adam & Company. Andrew started his investment career with Edinburgh Fund Managers in 1999 before joining Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as an Investment Director in 2002. He then spent two years as an Investment Partner at Edinburgh Partners. Prior to this he spent five years as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army. Andrew will be based in Thomas Miller Investment’s Edinburgh office.
Morgan, Head of Private Investment Management, Thomas Miller Investment says: “Andrew is an outstanding fund manager, one who offers that distinctive combination of investment expertise and empathy with clients. His contribution to the investment process when we worked together before was first class, as is his continuing track record. I am pleased to be working with him once again as we look to promote and grow Thomas Miller Investment’s UK private client and charities business.”
Thomas Miller Investment has funds under management in excess of GBP2.7 billion and manages tailored investment portfolios for insurance mutuals, charities, pension schemes, governments and private clients.
