Heartwood model portfolios now on Novia Platform

RELATED TOPICS

Heartwood, the independently owned investment manager, will be offering its model portfolios via the Novia platform.

This is in addition to the Heartwood range of multi-asset funds available through key distribution partners that include Novia, Cofunds, Transact, Ascentric and Standard Life.

The new platform agreement will help advisers access Heartwood’s multi-asset portfolios as either models or tax-efficient funds via a range of platforms and providers.

Mark Rockliffe (pictured), head of intermediary sales at Heartwood, says: “To have agreed eight key platform partnerships for tax efficient funds and now our models on the Novia platform is testament to the quality of our multi-asset portfolio offering.

“Through these multiple platform partnerships, advisers can access our range of portfolios, spanning the efficient frontier, ranging from defensive through to growth. The initial feedback from advice firms has been very positive both in terms of the breadth of the solution and the availability as models, tax-efficient funds or via a full discretionary service, all of which make use of Heartwood’s disciplined investment process and risk-managed approach.”

Paul Boston, sales and marketing director at Novia, says: "We are thrilled that Heartwood is on board with providing access via model portfolios, to their sophisticated investment approach. The importance of DFMs as part of an adviser’s tool kit is very much in the public eye at the moment and we continue to see a growing proportion of our new money utilising DFMs. We are seeing an increasing use of multiple DFMs with different approaches and styles being used on one administration system. This helps avoid the accusation of shoehorning clients whilst retaining the operational efficiencies of one admin process."
